My Role

Director

Superdry’s AW20 Virtual Catwalk was created as a digital presentation of the season, bringing a series of distinct brand worlds together within one continuous film.

Each section had its own visual character, from Studios and Sports through to SDX, Dry and Code, working with different designers, animators, music and sound collaborators while still needing to feel like part of a single Superdry experience.

MY ROLE

Director

As Director, my role was to bring those different creative worlds together into one coherent piece, working across performance, camera, lighting and the wider production while considering how the live-action material would ultimately interact with the design, animation and post-production.

It required directing for both what was happening in-camera and what would be built around the footage afterwards, making sure each section had its own personality without losing the overall rhythm of the catwalk.
